Description

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Public Hearing #1-26 will be held by the Pomfret Planning Board on April 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Pomfret Town Hall, 9 Day Street, Fredonia, NY 14063 to consider the appeal of the Autumn Howe for a Minor Subdivision of property located at 9667 Route 60, Fredonia, NY 14063. This property is described on the tax map as SBL: 131.09-1-22 and is zoned Mixed-Use Corridor (MUC) under the Town of Pomfret Zoning Code.

The proposed action is to divide two (2) lots within the 6.40+/- acres of land. The first lot: 0.486 acres, the second: 5.914 acres.

This Minor Subdivision application is open to inspection at the Town of Pomfret Planning & Zoning Office, 9 Day Street, Fredonia, NY 14063.    

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the environmental significance of the proposed request under SEQRA will be reviewed by the Board at said hearing.

In the Matter of the Establishment
of Sewer District No. 6 , in the Town of Pomfret,
County of Chautauqua, State of New York


            WHEREAS, a written Petition dated March 4, 2026, has been submitted in due form by Daniel W. Pacos and Kimberly Joy Pacos, property owners containing the required signatures, which has been presented and filed with the Town Board of the Town of Pomfret, County of Chautauqua, State of New York, for the establishment of a Town Sewer District, to be known as Sewer District No. 6, which is bounded and described on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof; and

            WHEREAS, the improvements proposed consist of the construction and maintenance of a sewer system to serve the District in accordance with a certain map plan and report prepared by CPL Engineers dated October, 2025, made a part of such Petition and heretofore adopted by this Town Board, and on file in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town; and

            WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Petitioners to construct said sewer system at their own expense, to transfer said sewer system to the Town, when completed, without any consideration.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT

ORDERED, that a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Pomfret will be held at the Town Hall, 9 Day Street, Fredonia, New York on April 15, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. on said day,  to consider said Petition, and to hear all persons interested in the subject thereof, concerning the same, and for such other action on the part of said Town Board with relation to the premises.

Town of Pomfrets Clerks Office will be closed April 20th - 22nd for annual conference.

Clerks Office will re-open normal business hours on April 24,2026
